Therefore we must not pass judgment on one another, but rather determine never to place an obstacle or a trap before a brother or sister. 1
So then, let us celebrate the festival, not with the old yeast, the yeast of vice and evil, but with the bread without yeast, the bread of sincerity and truth. 1
So then, dear brothers and sisters, 1 be firm. Do not be moved! Always be outstanding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
So then, my brothers and sisters, 1 dear friends whom I long to see, my joy and crown, stand in the Lord in this way, my dear friends!
Therefore do not let anyone judge you with respect to food or drink, or in the matter of a feast, new moon, or Sabbath days –
Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, just as you are in fact doing.
Thus we must make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by following the same pattern of disobedience.
So this is what the sovereign Lord says: “Look, my servants will eat, but you will be hungry! Look, my servants will drink, but you will be thirsty! Look, my servants will rejoice, but you will be humiliated!
“Therefore say: ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says: Although I have removed them far away among the nations and have dispersed them among the countries, I have been a little 1 sanctuary for them among the lands where they have gone.’
“‘Therefore this is what the sovereign Lord says: In my rage I will make a violent wind break out. In my anger there will be a deluge of rain and hailstones in destructive fury.
“Therefore I will judge each person according to his conduct, 1 O house of Israel, declares the sovereign Lord. Repent 2 and turn from all your wickedness; then it will not be an obstacle leading to iniquity. 3
So this is what the sovereign Lord says: I will stretch out my hand against Edom, and I will kill the people and animals within her, 1 and I will make her desolate; from Teman to Dedan they will die 2 by the sword.
therefore, as surely as I live, declares the sovereign Lord, I will deal with you according to your anger, and according to your envy, by which you acted spitefully against them. I will reveal myself to them when I judge you.
Therefore prophesy, and tell them, ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says: Look, I am about to open your graves and will raise you from your graves, my people. I will bring you to the land of Israel.
Therefore night will fall, and you will receive no visions; 1 it will grow dark, and you will no longer be able to read the omens. 2 The sun will set on these prophets, and the daylight will turn to darkness over their heads. 3
“‘Therefore,’ says the Lord, ‘I have become compassionate 1 toward Jerusalem 2 and will rebuild my temple 3 in it,’ says the Lord who rules over all. ‘Once more a surveyor’s measuring line will be stretched out over Jerusalem.’
