20:20 The men of Israel marched out to fight Benjamin; they¹ arranged their battle lines against Gibeah. 20:21 The Benjaminites attacked from Gibeah and struck down twenty-two thousand Israelites that day.²

21:10 So the assembly sent 12,000 capable warriors³ against Jabesh Gilead.⁴ They commanded them, “Go and kill with your swords⁵ the inhabitants of Jabesh Gilead, including the women and little children.

¹tn Heb “the men of Israel.” The noun phrase has been replaced by the pronoun (“they”) in the translation for stylistic reasons.

²tn Heb “The sons of Benjamin came out of Gibeah and they struck down in Israel that day twenty-two thousand men to the ground.”

³tn Heb “men, sons of strength.”

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
